Who doesn't love puppies?! Every litter session I do is so magical! This one was especially so, as these are hokkaido puppies - a very rare breed from Japan. In Japan, its name is sometimes shortened to Dō-ken. The Hokkaido is native to the prefecture of the same name in Japan. Preservation breeding (such as this litter) helps maintain historic breeds and ensure they aren't lost, keeping the culture alive.
