The project I've been working on for the last several weeks? Here it is! I had the grand pleasure of adding the brand new Sigma FP camera to my photography endeavors as I took this new machine out for a whirl in the real world! The FP is the world’s smallest and lightest full-frame camera, featuring still photography and cinema.
The FP Camera is unique in many ways, one of which is how modular the system is. With a series of screws and accessories, you can build your camera up to your needs, size, and comfort level!
Designed with both hobbyists, newbies, and professionals in mind, the Sigma FP camera can adapt to a large array of situations while keeping a lovely user-friendly menu and configuration.
The Sigma FP is an L Mount camera, adding to it Sigma's new array of incredible L Mount lenses (all of which I've also taken a swing at and they are beautiful). L Mount also allows you to use Leica and Panasonic L Mount lenses. Don't want to swap your kit? No problem, Sigma has an L Mount to EF converter allowing you to use your Canon lenses! They communicate exactly as native lenses would.
Stay tuned in the coming days as I release a series of sample images of my work taken with the FP!
How do you FP?
