Ascent is a female fronted, alternative rock duo that is captivating Southern California by producing the sound of a full band with only two band members. Gritty guitar, propulsive rhythms and commanding, melodic vocals equal a new, undefinable sound. I had the pleasure of updating their promotional images, right in time for their slew of upcoming rock concerts. We shot some uniquely lit studio portraits at the Photo Film Stage in Burbank as well as some moody nature captures in my back area of my home.
