I am very excited to finally share my coverage of the amazing Adopt the Arts charity event at the Fonda the other day, on RockRevolt Magazine! This is an organization that I feel very strongly about- and I encourage everyone to check it out.
Adopt the Arts sets out to raise money to help fund art education in public schools. As someone who took my artistic passion and turned it into a career, I was very influenced by my wonderful art teachers. The fact that the education system is cutting corners within art programs is deplorable, and I am filled with a lot of hope and joy that such a wonderful organization sprouted up to fix this problem.
Co-founded by Matt Sorum of Guns n' Roses / Hollywood Vampires / Velvet Revolved, with the likes of actress Jane Lynch, and special guests from Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath), Corey Taylor (Slipknot), Gilby Clarke (Guns N’ Roses), Billy Duffy (The Cult), Dean Deleo and Robert Deleo (Stone Temple Pilots), Steve Lukather (Toto), Franky Perez (Apocalyptica), Stevie Salas (Mick Jagger), Paul III (Tina Turner, Disreputable Few), Damon Fox (Big Elf and The Cult), and Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry, it was an absolutely spectacular night.

Stay tuned, a little birdie says that I'll be doing a lot more with this organization in the near future.
